Shure Beta 52A Kick Drum Mic
3 of 3 found this helpful I had previously used this same Mic, therefore i was pleased with its quality in sound and structure. Back in the day I used the AKG D112 on tje road, until this Mic came along. The name brand of Shure has been top quality for years, so when this mic was introduced, at about half the cost of a AKG D112, i decided to try it out. Im glad i did because you cant beat it for the price and quality and sound. Everyone has personal preference and particular use and sounds that they want and need, so this was my choice. Its like TAMA vs PEARL, or ZILDJIAN vs SABIAN, or CHEVY vs FORD. Everyone has their opinions and wants and needs, but i choose Shure Beta 52A with a 24" TAMA Starclassic Maple Kick Drum and it Rocks! I also use Zildjian A Custom Cymbals, own a 1969 Nova SS 396/375 HP 4-speed muscle car, but I drive a 2010 F150 4 door 4X4 Pickup Truck! lol
