This is a good version..
This is another wonderful version of the classic tale, Great Expectations. The stories are the same in that they do try to follow the book, but the actors always give change to the characters as to what they think they would be like... John Mills is very good in his role, and this is very entertaining... and to see a young Jean Simmons in the very beginning as the love interest was very nice to see. She played her part well.

I had never seen this story, so it was entertaining. I like how actors with other gifts are allowed to help in writing screenplays. It was fun and it was sweet.... it had been a long time since I had heard someone call their child, 'peanut'. I do enjoy the marvel series and what they are doing for the screen in parting out story lines. Star Trek came "close' to doing that but not really... enjoyable, and entertaining... light-hearted and imaginative. It is fun.
