Excellent value
For a relatively inexpensive lens it has a surprisingly good image, sharp to the edges. It's also compact and light for a 500mm lens.
Because of its design out of focus objects show the classic doughnut effect but for what I use it for it is simply not an issue.

Works well but is expensive and has limited applications.
1 of 1 found this helpful They are among the best teleconverters available but only work on a really limited number of Sony lenses. Most Sony lenses do not physically fit. They are expensive and if your camera has enough pixels you may find post processing gives and equal or better image.
