Works but not like OEM

The carburetor has no air cut of valve ports. When you go to install the old / OEM air cut off valve on it there is no place for it. It looks as if its filled in. This means BACKFIRES EVERY TIME you are on the throttle at a decent RPM and you let off of it quickly.
