VMAX Tanks - Initial Experience
7 of 7 found this helpful I've pulled as much as 186 amps from just a pair of these for almost 15 minutes, and they handled it, though they didn't like it very much! I regularly pull 125+ amps from my bank of 8 now and they don't seem to mind at all. These batteries are terrific from what I can tell. Here's the highlights:
PROs
- Unspillable, non-fuming, and no worries about electrolyte level
- Carry handle built in, super useful
- Packed incredibly well for shipping - no damage at all on the 8 I've purchased
- Posts are 5/16" bolts with 1/2" heads, super easy to connect to with ring terminals, and come with flat and lock washers
- they look bad ass (seriously, this matters. LOL)
- they ship and arrive quickly, and shipping is included. try that with flooded batteries. You'll pay the difference just for the hazmat shipping charges and your money doesn't add to the value of the battery
CONs
- they are heavy, but not any more so than other batteries of their size and ampacity
- addictive - I want more and more!

unbelievable deal
works great, can't believe the price. love the laser-spot temp reading plus ambient temp and external temp sensor capability all in one unit. oh, and Relative Humidity, too, of course.

best microwave ever
powerful, simple to use (just turn the knob!) and very easy to clean - no moving parts inside to remove or to get "off-track" like rotating carousels do. this is my favorite microwave of all time. just place your food off-center and the spinning microwave element (inside the case) will make sure your food gets heated evenly. so cool.
