That'll work!
It's one of those items you don't want to put too much thought into. It's a box with a magnet on it and it can hold a key or two. Is it really waterproof? I didn't test it, but there is no seal so I wouldn't say it is. If you just need one of those and it doesn't have to be heavy duty I don't see how it can be beat.

An aging staple
1 of 1 found this helpful I still love those: they feel good in the hand, and the size, weight and metallic construction can turn them into impact weapons should you find a bad surprise in the dark. The problem is that old incandescent bulbs just don't cut it anymore and Maglite wisely put some LED ones in the new 3D flashlights. I bought this one by mistake and the LED is so much better for a small price difference that I don't see the point in this item anymore. Maybe I'm missing something, like the fact that some customers might have huge stocks of replacement bulbs (I threw away the handful I had once I moved on to LED) or that some possibly prefer a softer light and less output (?). For me there is no looking back and I can't believe I was happy with those for so long.

A classic
3 of 3 found this helpful I've been buying Gargoyles for 15 years. The Novus style is more rounded and contemporary than the previous 85s I loved, but nothing that beats it, especially at that price (I've paid $80 for 85s before). Those are very light, very scratch- and break-resistant (they can be used as safety glasses in clear lenses and part of the advertisement was to shoot them with bird shot a few years back) and very good-looking. They may be larger than the current styles I see, but I much prefer this because of the level of protection afforded and the wraparound effect: great driving glasses and still my favorites after all this time.
