Seamless, no hassle replacement.
After 10 years, my original White-Rogers thermostats display was fading to the point of being unreadable and therefore, inoperable. I didn't want to go thru the hassle of rewiring a new thermostat, so I thought I'd try and find a direct replacement (even though I discovered this model was discontinued.) I got lucky and found one. Opened the box, put in the back-up batteries and snapped it into place. A perfect fit, bright new display and and my HVAC is happy. As am I.
