Expensive but worth it!
1 of 1 found this helpful I have yet to really test it in the mountains, but around town it holds a signal. Time will tell if the signal strength remains solid in steep terrain. The battery does get used up pretty well during a day, so backpackers should be prepared with some sort of a charging system tested in advance, because it takes a while even charging from my laptop, not sure how well a solar system would work. It's big but not too bulky, and the strap is really comfortable... The controls are manageable once you read the (not included) owners manual.

Work fine, easy to install.
they work fine, kind of expensive for what they are, but you don't buy Swarovski products to save money!!!

WORKS AS ADVERTISED
seems fine in the backyard - we'll check it out at the lake this weekend
