Easy read, emotional, very candid! Inside look at the tangible fear faced by gay military men and women and the measures taken to protect themselves and those within their 'alliance'.

"Coroner at Large"
Interesting read. Thomas Noguchi, in my opinion, is very biased in his conclusions of the cause and or manner of death of the cases discussed in this book. He appears closed minded as to other opinions. I would be very curious as the "details" surrounding his dismissal from Chief Medical Examiner of the Los Angeles County coroner's office!

"Portrait of a Killer"
Entertaining, thought provoking read. Jumps around at times from different moments within the time frame in which she is writing. However, very good at getting her point across as to whom she believes is Jack the Ripper's true identity. At the end of this book I thought--I think she just may be right!
