Soundgear Sweetspot
I bought this as a 'second' bass, due to owning a Soundgear 1805.
Guess what? The 1805 is going up for sale and this bass is replacing it.
Why? It sounds better, especially for heavier music where you need punch to cut through and be heard.(and still sounds great otherwise)
The reason is all in the PJ pickups, a Norstrand designed P pickup, to be exact.
I've owned 5 Ibanez soundgear basses and this is hands-down the best of the bunch, by a long way
The lower end of the soundgear line is ok, but these pickups launch this mid-line into the strato..
And the higher end of the line? Don't waste precious money! The big Nordstrand soapbar pickups don't have the punch that this PJ set does, dead serious

6000 watts of Awesome

Yet it's very lightweight, and with the price combination it can't be beat in this class. You would have to spend double or more to get another amp like this... Behringer used to get knocked for reliability issues in the past, but they have enough faith in what they put out to place a 3-year warranty on this item as long as you register within 90 days of purchase.
Very Happy with it!
