Great value and surprisingly good quality
The helmet is really solid and comfortable. Assembly instructions for fitting the suspension straps were OK but the remainder could have been a bit more helpful. However, it's not rocket science. The pivot for the visor could be better as the indents make it very stiff to raise and lower and I was concerned the plastic attachment lugs would fail due to stress after a while. I phoned GHS and, although they offered a return, I think it's the design, rather than a fault with my item. I decided to gently file away some high spots and now it's a lot better. Despite this I don't think you're going to do much better for the price and so I would wholeheartedly recommend this item for the casual user. The gloves also are very decent for the price. Soft leather and a nice cuff. I have very long fingers so ordered the XL size (size 10 on the label in the gloves) but this meant they are a bit wide across the palm, but better that way than too tight. Overall a very good buy.

Good value blades
I have had a DeWalt radial arm saw since the 1980's but have not used it for several years. Deciding to resurrect it, I decided I should buy a new blade. In researching my options I realised I should be using a negative rake blade for RAS and mitre saws. This was never made clear previously and the last blade sold to me by the supplier of the machine was a regular positive rake blade. No wonder I had some issues (including a visit to A&E!) Now, negative rake blades are harder to find andare usually more expensive 'premium' blades. Fortunately I came across Trend who have a good range of diameters and tooth configurations within my budget as a DIYer. I can't yet vouch for durability but the TCT tips are a little smaller than on my old blades so might not take as much re-sharpening. This does not bother me over much for my occasional usage. I think they will outlive me!

Decent quality for the price
The fit is pretty good: I am a 9 1/2 shoe size and the size 10 I ordered allows me to wear thick socks. They are comfortable but the heel support is not as good as on other similarly priced wellies I have had in the past. They could probably do with a bit more reinforcement in that area. Having said that, I am otherwise happy with the purchase. The cleats on the sole don't seem to clog with mud too much and are quite grippy. I can recommend these wellies for gardening activities.
