About
I buy and sell classic American cars and vintage audio equipment. I also own an Appliance and electronics store. Pre-1970 Fords especially forties and fifties are my favorites.

A Riot of British Born Laughter.
If you enjoy Monty Python even a little or the tongue in cheek British brass you should love this series. In the same vein as "Are You Being Served" but even more on or over the edge. The story of a French Restaurant owner and his times during the German occupation of France. Comedy about such taboo topics, "'Allo 'Allo" pokes fun at French romance, German high Command, the Gestapo, and everything that wasn't funny about WWII. When first released there was some criticism and concern, but the troupe is so good and the way they play the characters. It's all in English but the players speak it with either a French, German, or British accent and do not have the ability to understand each other. I first saw this series on PBS and was hooked. One of my favorites along with "Good Neighbors", "Are you being Served", and "Dad's Army". Well worth the price you will fall for the characters and laugh out loud at the craziness.

hilarious historical hyjinks
Just because you don't like him as Mr. Bean don't pass up Black Adder. This is well written and very funny stuff, you have to pay attention to the dialog, there is much said between the lines. History buffs really have fun looking for slip ups and it is just naughty enough to keep everyone interested without offending. If you like "Faulty Towers" or "Halo Halo" this is a must watch! I give it a solid 4 stars.
