Excellent first sewing machine!
3 of 3 found this helpful This is my first sewing machine and it is perfect! There is only one kind of stitch, two speeds, a fairly simple design, a foot pedal and button. I bought this machine for some small crafts (it can do paper stitching, too!) and simple repairs. I got it and took it out of the box and it was already set up. There's also some videos on YouTube that show you how to thread it if you're a complete novice to sewing machines like me. It's so cute! It can also take batteries in addition to just plugging in, so you could use it pretty much anywhere. I have already fixed the seam on a pair of pajama pants (which I was going to throw away but can now wear again!). I would definitely recommend this for anyone who isn't a super sewer but needs some help repairing some simple rips and tears OR someone who is just starting out sewing. Excellent machine, shipped fast (wicked fast!), and works great!
