Can only tell you what Ziebart had to say-But didn't work for us
We ordered this product to replace one of two fobs we had for our 15 yr old truck. The first fob didn't work at all, so hubby took it 30 miles to the Ziebart in Hibbing. The Mgr. couldn't get it to work either so he checked the batteries and they were OK.
The Mgr told us that he has installed many Crime Stoppers remotes and had never had a problem with any of them, so he was sure that the one we had was defective. I contacted the seller & asked for replacement, so that's what we did. however, my hubby couldn't get the new one to work either. In fact, in trying, he deprogrammed the one fab that had been working. he got that working and went online. He found a fob that looks exactly like the one he had originally and has the same numbers on the back. We'll try that. From the Ziebart Mgr's comments, I must believe that Crime Stoppers has a fairly good product. He couldn't find a remote fob for our truck in his books because our truck is so old. Hopefully, the next one will work better.
