Chalk
I play in a community center, I bring my own billiard balls and I find the brown chalk easier to polish off than the green, I clean them one at a time I'm very persistent at getting the stains out I like them clean and shiny, that's my experience anyway

Good wood rack
Was in need of rack, this does the job very well. Like the sound of wood rack on pool balls and the look of wood. Could have taken a little more time attaching the brass straps at the corners, no way are they coming loose, just could have been set better, but overall it's high grade, can't beat it for the money. I'll buy again if someone smashes this one or steals it.
