Crosley Memory Master II
It actually works quite well. The tape deck could be of more quality. The dck didn't work when I got it but manually spinning the playback spindle for awhile seems to have fixed that and it seems to work fine now. I wish that it had the capacity to tape onto Cassettes as well as play and record them to CD's. I am very happy with the quality of the CD's.I have copied from both records and tapes. There is not any appreciable background noise. While the Sound quality is not great it is good and enjoyable, The CD's however allow you to take your music to a great sound system and listen to them in great fidelity. I like it's ease of use. I am happy with just have one track for the side of a record and that makes recording easy. If you want separate tracks then you have to be there to create them for each piece. Can do all of this one one machine without being tied to a computer or to a sound system. The stand alone design is wonderful... Would buy this a second time. Since the CD Eject switch is on the right and the power switch is on the right I have shut the machine off sever times when I wanted to eject a CD... The power switch could be probably relocated to the Left Side..
