Times Square Records CD
I've been a Doo Wop fan since before it was called Doo Wop, whenever that happened. Used to sing in the subway because of the echo. Bought this for one song by the Time Tones but liked all the songs after playing the CD. Slim was quite a character. Didn't say much & only saw the racoon once.As I remember the store was small & cramped but had all the good stuff. One day a guy was in the store & asked for record "I was a big man, yesterday". He got laughed out of the place. This CD not mainstream Doo Wop but the kind of stuff regular guys might have sung. Recommend this for all the fans who have heard enough Skyliners & Duprees.Also, anybody who ever went down those subway steps to that little hole in the wall known as Times Square Records.
