Smooth rotation, not bulky and overengineered. Perfect.
2 of 2 found this helpful Some reviewers claimed this vise did not rotate well; had play while rotating. Maybe he was tying 20 pound flies, I don't know. My vise rotates really smoothly. I like simplicity, and the $75.00 price tag just made me buy it faster. I always wanted one of these, and I was not disappointed. Eventually, I may replace the rotator lever with an old fishing reel handle, something I would recommend for any of these rotating vises. Either way, it works really well.

American Made, With Chinese Retail Price.
These are smaller bits, but those are the sizes I break, so this U.S. made cobalt set is perfect. Great deal!
