A Steve Young Masterpiece
1 of 1 found this helpful Terrific album long unavailable in any form. Honky Tonk Man followed Young's brilliant Seven Bridges Road and while maybe not the later's equal, is just as essential to own. Young was just as important as the Byrds Gram Parsons Flying Burrito Brothers or Dillard and Clark during the infancy of California country rock and later outlaw country. Grossly underappreciated during his 50 year music career, collecting Young's music has never been easy. Honky Tonk Man is a must own. Congratulations to the South Korean group which located this music, originally recorded in Minneapolis, MN, and remastered it. Sound is great, packing is great comma, and it arrived in
timely fashion. My guess is, if you have any interest in the music of the folks mentioned here, you already know of this album. If you don't have this version, you need to get it.
