Chinese pinyin keyboard function instead of basic 'abc'
2 of 2 found this helpful This phone comes from China so you need to set it up to not use pinyin or strokes as an input method for the keyboard. Predictive texting in English is an option but there is no way of getting rid of pinyin as one of the options to cycle through when texting and it takes the place of standard 'abc' function you're probably used to, so writing some words that aren't in the phone's dictionary is a relatively time-consuming and frustrating process.
