Protects from Falls & Water
It is waterproof and surprisingly protective because the thick covering and slight overlap on front keeps water from from seeping in the screen — having just lived thru a flood and massive rain it becomes like a timex watch — it takes a licking and just keeps on ticking...I have a Kindle 3 the only one left with a headphone...

Better than other alphabets
Because there is 2 sides and they they act like spacers on all side and they are paintable with tester's paints. All colors, you can also easily add a dangle with an eye-in if you want them to hang straight! So pretty, so versatile, so chic, and so inexpensive--generally 2pcs for about 75 cents!
