Lionel N Y C car set 16016 to 16021
A Very nice looking set of 6 stream liner cars ( introduced by most RR’s in the late 1930 early 40’d) at an affordable price. Made by Lionel in 1989. This set is light & a darker gray w/ white trim lines & numbers. The cars do not have names. This set has : 1 baggage, 1 combine , 2 coaches, 1 diner & an observation. They are illuminated w/ silhouettes. They look great behind late steam power or FA’s and F3 diesels

LIONEL Postwar No. 6467 Tuscan caboose

BOTH ends feature end railings, brake wheels, floor-to-roof ladders & magnetic couplers on diecast trucks / wheels with 2 ( one each lower frame side ) PLUS ! It's illuminated!. VERY available on internet sites and well worth the price. Can be re decorated . I have 5

Lionel LeHigh Valley Postwar Hoppers
This particular version is somewhat rare being BRIGHT red WITH metal steps at the 4 corners & a lesser common color from Lionel postwar LeHigh Valley Hopper. Most 1948 common were issued in black, maroon & some in grey ( less common also w/red lettering) all of which came with 4 metal steps and a blk metal brake wheel on 1 end. All these versions look great with scale coal loads or even ; drop an empty car in a charcoal bag, shake up to coat body & car insides, carefully remove so as to not disturb grime coating. Gently spray with clear flat .
