This is a great quick filter with diatomaceous earth.

Just as good as the vortex diatomaceous powder.
Many people say you have to use true vortex brand diatomaceous powder that another brand might not work or has other chemicals in it thats false I've seen other brands package same thing and say for diatom filters so for me working fine . I have a diatomagic , a D1 and XL they all work fine with that brand of DE powder.
