A Great Double Edge Safety Razor!
2 of 2 found this helpful Do not be deceived by its plastic construction: this DE razor works extremely well! It is a solid performer and gives a smooth, irritation(mild but efficient) free shave. In my opinion, it is second to none. However, I suggest being careful to correctly align the top cap to base plate of the razor when closing so that the plastic stem does not deform or damage the threads in the base since this is also plastic. Equally, do not over tighten. If these steps are taken I do not see any reason that the razor should not last for many years. I have heard and seen(Youtube) other wet shavers complain that razor is too mild and that one has to make many shaving passes, per shave, to achieve a BBS result. In my personal use I found this to be false. Properly prepare the face pre shave and this razor will work well. Finally, ANY razor can "Bite" the shaver if one is careless or not paying attention. A razor blade is a SHARP instrument and one can be nicked or cut regardless of the razor it is used in. This said, the Wilkinson Sword Classic is must less likely to bite compared to other highly prized DE razors that also have a reputation for mildness. I strongly advise acquiring one of these razors!

A Fine Fragrance and Good Lathering Soap
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a excellent shaving soap. It has a wonderful scent that is fresh and clean but not easily described as it not floral, or citrus based nor a heavy cologne. It reminds me of a classic barbershop if that makes sense. The soap lathers easily; especially when bloomed(allowed to sit in water for 10 mins) and creates a very slick protective lather. The amount is generous and will easily last several months or longer if used in a rotation of soaps/creams/gels and etc.
I am highly pleased with this product and strongly recommend it for wet shavers and disposable cartridge razor alike.

Extremely Smooth yet Mild Shaving Blades
I seriously do not understand why Schick Injector razors/blades are not in the forefront of shaving technology. I was/am absolutely astounded at close and smooth a shave I received yet the blade was gentle and forgiving. I am not new to Wet Shaving/ DE Razors but this was first encounter with a Single Edge Injector and the result was nothing less than FANTASTIC. This type of blade and the razors which use it may be considered Retro but they are vastly superior to contemporary cartridge razors in my opinion. I will be using these blades as a permanent part of my shaving routine and rotation.
