Iconic industry standard
1 of 1 found this helpful There is little point in writing a review on this mike. It is a industry standard and has been for as long as I can remember. The mike came out in 1965 but I have only been using them for 40 years. Great flat response and the same cap as SM 58 vocal mike without the pop filter. Works great to mike everything from vocals to guitar and bass amps. The frequency response is so good you can even wrap it in a layer of foam and put it behind a upright bass tailpiece instead of a pickup. Studios and stage performers still use them.

Old ain't for sissies but make the best of it
There are many life changes coming after 50 and almost none of them good. This helps with a plan for mitigating some of those changes.
