Works fine; that's all that matters!

Needed it to replace my original unit that is still working, but the hard drive is screaming! I loaded this replacement and it works fine. Wish Apple would have continued putting a hard drive in the new models.

Does the job

Worked fine for my HP laptop. Did not have to use the second USB cable for additional power. Installed easily and burns data quickly enough for my use.

Worked fine; good value for price paid

I don't think that these would hold up very long if used in a business that does a lot of spring replacing. I could be wrong, but I noticed after a couple of uses that the screws were getting harder to turn. This may be because of thread wear or some metal fatigue. However, for the back yard mechanic that only needs to use them once in a while, they are a good value for the price paid and I would recommend them for this kind of use.
