I Can Hear My Vinyl Again!
2 of 2 found this helpful Like many others, I have a receiver and I picked up a turntable at the thrift store, but I couldn't get noise out of it and thought it didn't work. I didn't know until recently that the receivers from my youth had phono preamps built into them. Fast forward to now and the Pyle preamp solved the problem!
It is really small, hiding easily behind my receiver. It doesn't have a power switch, but if your receiver has plugs in the back that power on and off with the unit, then there's no worries. Otherwise a person could pull the power plug if they're concerned.
To be honest, the preamp isn't as loud as I hoped, but it is so much better than no sound at all. I have to turn the volume knob up a bit compared to the radio, but the sound quality is very good. I recommend!

Lots of Boom Using Little Room!
This sub gives so much more power than I expected! On par with the best mini-subs factory-installed with new-vehicle, high-quality sound systems.
I installed it in my older RV against the wall by my left foot, and it fills the cabin nicely with controlled bass.
I could have screwed the sub to the wall, but it would be hard to reach way under the dash to attach and adjust the settings. Instead, I used one of the supplied mounting brackets attached to the top of the sub, and another screwed to the wall at 90 degrees. Now I can slide the sub out for adjustments, then slide it back in place with the sub's bracket sliding under the other bracket screwed to the wall. Clean!
Wiring kit was top-notch and easy to handle, strip, splice, and solder.
I find the sub's remote volume control very linear and useful.

More than just eye candy...
While is represents the lower audio frequencies, it is still a fun and informative thing to have as part of your audio system. Be sure and copy the instructions off the auction site!
Easy to assemble!
