Love the series, but the packaging could be a little more user friendly.
If you like the Flintstones, and want to own the complete series, this is the most economical way to purchase it new. I am, however, not impressed with how the discs are packaged. The box looks like a neat little flat screen TV, but the discs are crammed inside two little book-like folders inside the box. It is somewhat difficult to shake the discs out of the folder slots, or try to pry the folder open enough to grab the edge of the disc and pull it out without seemingly scratching or damaging the disc. Although sliding the disc back into the folder is easy enough, I still feel as though the disc could be easily scratched doing so. I wish they would have made the box a little thicker, and put the discs in jewel cases.
One could purchase each individual season to have the discs in jewel cases, but you'd definitely pay more to get the complete series, and I doubt the individual seasons have the same bonus content as the box set.
All in all, it is what it is, and there's no changing that. Even knowing what I know now, I'm still happy to own the box set. I guess I'll just have to be extra careful and patient handling the discs. ;)

quick easy fix for erratic throttle response and shift patterns on my 2000 F350 with the 7.3 Powerstroke, and automatic Transmission
I've owned my 2000 F350 with the 7.3 Powerstroke, and 4R100 automatic Transmission for 18 years, and have personally logged over 300,000 miles with it. Every couple of years I've had to replace the complete accelerator pedal assembly, or just the sensor due to my truck developing erratic throttle response, (primarily just off idle) and unpredictable shift patterns. Sometimes, there will be no throttle response at all, (will only idle) until I pump the pedal several times to bring it back to life. Ford says it is best to replace the complete pedal assembly with a genuine Ford pedal assembly, which is the route I've gone, for the most part, over the years. I did try replacing just the throttle position sensor once, several years ago, and got about 6 months out of it. I also tried replacing the complete pedal assembly with an aftermarket pedal assembly once, and got about 1 year out of that. Therefore, I felt it was worth the extra money to stick with the genuine Ford pedal assemblies, because I would usually get 2 years out of them. The genuine Ford pedal assemblies have gotten more and more expensive, and harder to find over the years, to the point where i can no longer justify spending that much money on one every couple of years. I replaced the faulty accelerator position sensor on one of my old genuine Ford pedal assemblies with this sensor, and it has completely cured my erratic throttle response and shift patterns. I now have smooth, reliable acceleration, and shift patterns, from idle, all the way to wide open throttle, every time, like it should be. Will it last a couple years? I'll find out. for the price, though, I figure it's worth a try. I could buy 20 of these sensors for about the cost of 1 genuine Ford pedal assembly. It is easy to change, and fits and plugs in just like the original.

I don't like the thinner blade.
The new Stanley FatMax tape measures are definitely not as good as they used to be. The blade is a lot thinner and flimsier and doesn't even get close to the 14 foot stand out that the packaging implies.
