Still working (an improvement on its predecessor)
After about three weeks’ regular use the cable is still working. My last one, from the same company, works only intermittently. Both appear to be of the same build quality so I have no idea of the reason for this. Buying cables, even from reputable companies, appears to be a matter of chance.

Looks smart, but falls apart
0 of 1 found this helpful I very much liked the look of this pen, and already owned a Moleskine rollerball so expected this to be of matching quality. At first it performed as one would expect a retractable ballpoint pen to work, but my favourable initial impression did not last long. I had bought a refill (also by Moleskine) with a finer nib, which I decided to install in the pen in place of the medium nib it was supplied with.
The process was not as straightforward as expected, as, unlike the metal bodied ballpoint pen, this plastic one cannot be unscrewed. Rather, the button at the top has to be removed. Once I had inserted the refill, and replaced the click button, the pen became unusable: the click mechanism failed to work and the button felt loose, and soon came away completely.
All of this, please note, occurred on the same day I took delivery of the pen.
I know the refill cannot be at fault as it was an official Moleskine product. Nor had I handled the pen roughly.
It is a pity that insufficient attention seems to have been paid to the functionality and reliability of this pen, in comparison with its appearance.

A typical Tamiya tool - built to last
I'm not sure how entertaining a screwdriver is meant to be, but in other respects this is hard to fault. As with all Tamiya tools, it's very well made, and seems likely to last a lot longer than I will. Having said all this, I have yet to use it, but its standard of construction certainly inspires confidence.
