It's okay
1 of 1 found this helpful We purchased this for our above ground pool, we wanted a stronger pump than what came with the original. We've come across a couple problems. 1) where the hose connects to the pump itself has a leak. We have tightened it as far as we could without breaking it but it still leaks. 2) the same problem when you connect the hose to the chlorinator filter, small leak there as well no matter how tight you can get it. 3)you'll have to purchase (separately) connector attachments for the hoses to your pool wall as these are bigger than the original hoses that come with your pool. And we didn't know that so we ended up having to purchase a set on line and wait for them to arrive before starting the pool up. The chlorinator filter is a nice addition and saves us from having to have the floater floating on the pool surface so we like that. It's pretty easy to set up and use. The past reviews state the timer usually only last one summer and they have to purchase another pump. So far ours is okay. It would be really great if those few items were taken care of, otherwise... 3 stars.
