Grinding gear and jerky lever
At first glance, the reel felt light yet rugged. However, when the reel is under pressure, the gears make grinding sound when the handle is turned. The lever that engages and disengages the spool is VERY jerky and often times doesn't turn off or on unless a lot of pressure is applied. For this price, there are far better reels.

Very cheap
Made of very cheap foam. Looks like something that should cost $3.99

Decent fryer. Came looking used.
Decent fryer but came looking used. There is no indication of oil temperature being primed. Instead, both red and green lights are always on.
