Choose these for 78 Tele, Didn't want to modify head stock.
1 of 1 found this helpful These fit and installed on my 78 Telecaster with no permanent modification. I saved the old original tuners and screws if it is ever desirable to go back to stock. Love these tuners for the Hip Shot locking feature and the tuning is precise and stable.
Best of both worlds. Advantages of modern locking tuners and no new holes in the old headstock to hide or even repair. This UMP kit was the only product I could find that could do all that. Thanks Hip Shot and eBay.

Sometime Old is better than new
This Older Gen Roku streams video without interruption and error messages when down loading HMDI programs for viewing on older TVs. I have and old one and when I upgraded to an Express + I could not get by the error message when using Amazon and others. It does have some added features but will not work a crossed my entire older system. After many tries I went back to my old Roku the only thing in the path that had changed. I knew it had worked well before but was not compatible with Acorn. The older Gen worked fine with no errors. Roku what did you do?
Two Roku for Different needs. The older one w/RCA jacks for Amazon etc. and New Express+ w/RCA jacks for Acorn and others. They both work with the same remote and the switching is by the TV remote for input selection. So I found this Roku and did the same thing for our other TV. A Factory reset and the set up from scratch like any Roku product . With an on line handshake it was online with Roku and working fine.
Acorn BBC Mysteries galore for the Mrs. on Roku Express + and Amazon Prime and lots of stuff to watch on the Older Roku (picked up on EBAY) and no HDMI errors. Old and new to solve compatibility and error problems. Success! It worked well on both.
Sorry to run so long
