Purchase this unit
Some stores sell this unit as a set with multiple wireless handsets. I only needed the base with one cordless handset. I needed to replace a non-corded speaker phone unit. This one had everything I needed plus an answering machine, so I could eliminate the separate answering machine. The range is better than the old unit and no static. So far we have been very glad we got this Uniden DECT 2185 unit.

DSL compatibility
This model was manufactured in 2011 and is not compatible with DSL internet. Manual says a filter is needed, but AT&T says a filter will not help.

Casio SS watch
I have had many of this style of watch in the black vinyl case and band. I usually have a new one on hand so I will not be without a working one if something happens to the one I am wearing. I upgraded to the stainless version this time and started wearing it on a trip with the church. The watch still does everything it is supposed to do, but I have two problems. The band will sometimes pull the hair on my arm and the alarm is not as loud as previous versions. I still recommend the watch, but I will go back to the vinyl version for my next one.
