Peaceful and warrior are not mutually exclusive terms.

There is a lot of wisdom for living our everyday lives in this story. Well portrayed and close to the book that inspired it, The Way of the Peaceful Warrior.

Worth revisiting or seeing for the first time

Saw this movie back in the 1970s. First time I saw Martin Sheen and he was brilliant. Although the movie is somewhat dated, I still think the performances of Martin Sheen and Linda Blair are excellent. I realize at the time the movie intended to challenge attitudes surrounding sexuality and mental illness. In that sense, I think this movie can still make us challenge some of our assumptions without directing us to any conclusions but our own.
