So far so good....
I've had a Braun stick mixer that I've used hard for everything for about 15 years that finally gave up the ghost. That was the only kitchen appliance I wanted when I first got married (no silly mixers, blenders, food processors, etc. w/lots of waste of food due to so much surface area and parts to clean), and I absolutely loved it! So this mixer is the replacement I bought. With big shoes to fill after my Braun, so far it is proving powerful and sturdy enough for pureeing pumpkin and apples and making soap, etc. I'll have a complete opinion about this product in about 10 years. :)
