It's a really great study Bible. I like the maps that show you the places that are mentioned. There are two strips of ribbon attached to the binder that are perfect book marks. The commentary helps you better understand certain passages. The binder is a soft leather. It has a lay flat binder - I didn't know what that meant until I was reading it and laid it on the coffee table. It doesn't arc, it lays flat. I like it so much, I've bought two. I
