Good to go, good value,strong.
If you need a stronger guide rod for a 357 sig or 40 this is the way. For a 9mm you really don't NEED it but it's good peace of mind being solid steel. Just that little extra strength. Plus it adds a little weight out front, if that is something you buy into. I do it for redundancy, and save the original hollow rod in the parts bin or pistol case. I use this one in a .357 Sig P-226 German and it works great, like I said, it's great peace of mind and with the hotter calibers it's a must have.

I like them, highly recommended.
Great deal really.....easy upgrade if you know Sig's and have just basic mechanical skills. Makes your double action easier to pull and stay on target while maintaining reliability. Every gun is different however, you will have to test it with many ammo types. For me---the 18 pound spring is as light as I go in a CARRY/DEFENSIVE gun. Lighter springs may work fine, I have used them all and they feel great but do your testing, to each there own. For fun or competition you can go very light, but you will have to pull the trigger twice on one round sometimes due to F.T.F. That's the thing about hammer guns though, they give you a second chance if you don't get a bang the first pull.....
