  This 114 yr old plate was sent in an envelope with little bubble wrap. And the plate was listed as 10 inch. It's 9 3/4. Those inches can mean the difference between dinner plate and salad plate. This seller just is inexperienced with selling dishes and packaging them. OTHERWISE- I'm very pleased with the purchase. It was shipped promptly and is in beautiful condition.
