Have an older camera that can only take up to 512 MB SD cards this one works great.
I have an old Celestron digital microscope and the max sd memory it will take is 512 MB, It's great to still be able to get these memory cards.

Rain or snow or even up to 10' underwater you can take video and pictures.
Works great. I take lots of videos outside and sometimes it's raining or snowing, so with my old camera i didn't take the videos or pictures. Now i can. It has a wide range of photo settings and you can do 3d, panorama, magic filters, face recognition and more. I popped it in the fish tank to see if it really was waterproof; it is. It doesn't have tap controls like the TG-610. An Eye-Fi card is about $80, i just use the 8 Gig card that came with it and the usb cable to transfer my pictures and videos; set the camera to mass storage and the computer sees the camera as an external memory drive. The only software that i kept after installing it from the CD was the camera updater. I have Roxio My DVD Studio with Video Wave to edit the videos on Windows and Kino on my Debian Linux machine.

1 of 1 found this helpful I'm liking it, only part way through it also bought Mycelium Running. Started out learning wild mushrooms to eat. Now it's winter and i'm starting to run out of mushrooms and am learning to grow some. Bonus all the ecological and medicinal benefits we can get from fungi.
