NEW Netgear AC1450 Smart WiFi Router 802.11ac Dual Band Gigabit
    Jan 08, 2018
    fine product
Found a high end router, NIB NETGEAR ac1450 smart router 802.11ac at great price. At first I laughed at "smart" router, and installed it. I needed WiFi to run a Roku device and a Firestick on my TV. Loaded up to modem settings from AT&T and on screen messages said internet connection to slow for device to operate properly. I knew this was a problem as I have 26-28 mbs connection according to speed test and after some research with other techs learned that AT&T equipment doesn't particularly like free TV devices. Did not know what to do and restarted Netgear router to use it for another device. Then I learned the "smart" part. A new on screen message, said, from the router, "would you like Netgear smart wizard to repair your network internet connection?" My desk top and laptop speed test said 26mbs, but I clicked repair anyway just to see what was wrong with it. To my amazement the Roku came on after and worked fine. The router had repaired the connection and details said AT&T modem was using 2.5gb connection for wireless and Netgear router changed connection to 5gb. Netgear had earned the "smart" router title, as that is something I would not thought of. Extra added bonus I did not expect. Works better now on my wireless network. Cudos to Netgear.

game play, Links Crossbow Training for wii
I have purchased several wii games in the past in an attempt to find some that my handicapped son (Autistic) would play interactive with me. Links Crossbow Training has fit the bill. He enjoys playing with me and also showing me his ability to preform by himself. There are few games that he will play with anyone, especially his dad. As for the game itself. It is a roll play shooter game with you being able to see the shooter and not just the weapon. the are three modes to play in. A practice mode to perfect your aim and speed from target to target and a combat mode to play against attacking monsters and a multi-player mode. It seems to depend a great deal on where you set the aim point and speed of the cursor (crossbow sights). there is an icon on the screen to set the height and speed. One of the modes gives you a score to beat to access a higher level. It starts at 1-1 and goes through 3-3. If you score high enough on these levels you get to go to 4-1 and so on, but its not easy. Like the games says its Crossbow Training. Learning when to shoot and accuracy is stressed as hitting consectative targets score more than random shooting and missing. For instance hit the first target and get 10 points, hit the next without missing in between and get 10 x 2, next 10 x 3 and so on till you miss or run out of targets. Accurate shooting gives much larger scores. I enjoyed it and would rate it at 4 to 5 stars, on a 1-5 scale. I also purchased a control holder that looks like a pistol to make it a little more interesting. The controller fits into it and plugs in. It requires a numchuk to be pluged into the controler. You can move and shoot at the same time with it, although you can do the same with the add on gun. Controller and numchuk work just fine without it.

    accurate labeling of capacity
In the past memory stick said 64 gb but were mostly all fake and could only hold 15gb at best, if that. I know because I bought a few that were rated high but delivered little. These I bought, held the capacity right out of the box. A++++++ 50 gb is a lot of data.
