A great movie
I found this movie to be a moving drama of the war years, which reminded me of evacuation of children from cities which were being bombed to locations where they would be safe. I wasn’t involved as I lived in the North East,
It involved an elderly man, a widower who at first didn’t wish to be involved, but who grew to love the boy who he accommodated. I love happy endings

We had this film years ago on VHS, & have thought of getting it on dvd for a while & finally we have it
