Round vs Square element
Some say round elements do not put out as much light as the square. I now have one of each. I've taken both into dark rooms to test personal effectiveness. I find no difference. I can see all areas of each room. Both lights have chrome plated reflectors, but different elements. I had low expectations. Now, I have little to no fear of buying another, regardless of element. I hope this helps you to be a little relieved, too. They are good lights. That's probably why they've become so expensive.
