Best for my work
I use these for rope access rappelling work. They fit well if you buy a size smaller. They will stretch to fit nicely so you can manipulate carabiners etc. Double palm for running rope through. Adjustable wrist to make them extra snug.

Good for coated metal.
I'm a pipeline inspector and have to write information on pipes to be found at a later date. These seem to hold up to the weather as well as the more expensive brands.
