ANCOL REFLECTIVE Softweave Cat Collar with or without Engraved ID Tag
    Jul 12, 2018
    Nice collar
Easy to fit, comes pre-adjusted for the average cat. A thread got caught and opened a little loop after a few days but I think that was just bad luck with our cat being clumsy on a rose thorn or similar. Otherwise seems fine so far. I like the safety feature which will open it if the cat gets seriously stuck.
GLIDEROL GRD+ Automatic Roller Garage Door Opener/Electric Motor (Replaces RW1)
    Apr 11, 2018
Well-made and can be fitted by DIY-er
The product looks and feels sturdy. It seems much superior to the RW1. I am a 66-year-old DIY-er and managed to replace an RW1 which had failed on our double garage door. The installation instructions are very clear. The only difficult part is supporting the open (rolled-up) door prior to removing the end bracket. It's very heavy. You need a tall stepladder with a flat top and then some padding to protect the door surface. IMPORTANT - if the bracket has slotted holes, mark its position before removing it. Even when supported, my door dropped about an inch once the bracket was removed. Remove the old motor (if present) and then slide on the new one quite easily. Then you need someone else to increase the support packing while you lift the door back to its original height and replace the bracket in the position you marked earlier. It works very well and I saved myself £300 against a professional quote to supply and install it. Bonus - the remote controls for the old motor work with the new one, so now we have two spare remotes.
Old New Thing, The: Practical Development Througho... by Chen, Raymond Paperback
    Apr 01, 2021
Very readable but a bit out-of date.
Bear in mind it was written in 2006 so only goes as far as Windows NT. I was aware of this, so it's just a warning to others. If you need up-to-date stuff go to the online blog. In answer to eBay's quesion "Is the content compelling?", I have answered No because parts of it will only appeal to total geeks. I am a mid-range Windows developer so I find it fun and good value.
