3 of 3 found this helpful Warm not hot. Works great so far. I have it in a ASL Solutions Insulated Medium Large Dog House Palace Raised Floor Bed. Mounted to 1/2 " plywood. Had to set to low setting, as med setting was way to hot ! You can't go wrong with this unit. Make sure the dog house is insulated, or you will be paying to heat the outdoors!
