Lack of info on CD to USB even on line
41 of 46 found this helpful Bought this because I wanted music in my workshop but didn't want to have to change CD's all the time. The USB drive was a feature I had never seen on a DVD player, jumped on this, especially at that price. I have been quite frustrated though trying to transfer from CD to USB. Finally gave up and just copy at X1 speed. Accidentally found X4 once, could not get back to it. Instructions in box and on line don't tell you much about the copying process. 200 songs at standard speed is taking a while! If I can figure out how to copy CD's to USB on my desktop in MP3 format that is how I'll do my next USB drive. Haven't connected to my shop receiver yet but have deleted a couple songs and listened to some on my desktop. Sounds good at max MP3 codex which should be close or better than XM was. Only video observed was for the copying process which I did on my small kitchen television. Readable, no issues there.

Great Deal
Was afraid to even price bezel trim piece from GMC! Very surprised I was able to find one for less than $5 and free shipping too.

Great stereo receiver. And it's a Sony.
Just need stereo for my shop, no 5.1 or greater Dolby, HDMI, etc. Receiver does have VCR inputs but these inputs can be used without the video for another audio source which I did for my XM receiver. With the audio output of the VCR connections I was able to still use my audio feed to a room in my shop. So this Sony replaced my old receiver with failing FM quite nicely. I also like the Bass Boost button--helps in my wide open shop with speakers up on edge of loft. 100 watts per channel lets me "rock out". So....I am quite pleased with this stereo receiver!
