Superb performances, beautifully recorded.
As a classical music collector for many years, both in vinyl and now CD's, I have never heard better sound than this conductor and this orchestra. This recording was on London, but there are other fabulous releases on Teldec. The Brahms symphonies come to mind as the pinacle of recorded sound!

Fine quality compilation of many works from several composers.

Richter - A Mediocraty
It is apparent why Mozart is the greatest rococo composer - he was simply the best by several orders of magnitude. This music is formulaic and generally quite dull.
