Best protection I know
I have yet to have any damage despite dropping my tablet twice. Excellent protection - Excellent value.

Adequate and Beautiful
3 of 3 found this helpful Thin, crisp lines and clear graphics. A responsive tablet with a screen that's large enough for most all uses yet small enough to carry in most inside coat pockets. Charging time is reasonable and battery life is good enough for a long day, about 10-12 hours.
Setup is straight forward except when it comes to transferring data from an older computer, tablet or iPh9ne. There are built-in steps and instructions to help you transfer data external data. Unfortunately it assumes you understand USB cabling jargon. The instructions only say to you need to "connect" the two devices. Actually, you'll need to a USB-A Male to USB-C Female cable which is not included. Fortunately, they can be purchased inexpensively: $2-5.
I'd recommend a slim protector case. The heavy-duty protection is only necessary for rough use. I recommend this because the 10.4 and larger tablets are narrow, thin and can feel slippery so it CAN slip right out of your hands. The good ones can be purchased on-line, since manufacturers typically sent the good ones to brick and mortar companies.
Over all, from my experience, I'd say the device is most satisfactory for my use.

Lightweight with great features
When combined with Brother's Button Manager, this little scanner is a very useful and inexpesive scanner, particularly in concert with Brother's Button Manager. The Button Manager enables the DS-620 to scan in selectable modes, including B&W or full color to a computer file, combine pages into a simple PDF document, or send the scan as e-mail (via an Outlook account), to your local printer etc. To get it working, I simply employed an older PC ( with an older version of Windows 10 Pro ) and it works perfectly!
Brother still supplies the DS-620 driver and Button Manager.
However, the DS-620 is no longer supported on CURRENT versions of WIndows 10 or 11. However it works beautifully on older versions of Windows 10, such as Versions 19043.1287 and earlier.
So, if you need a simple yet effesctive scanner solution and have an older PC collecting dust, put it to good use. I just keep the DS-620 in the office near my older PC, ready to fire-up at a momnents notice.
