Not as good as advertised.

I was trying to upgrade from the old X10 technology and thought this product would be a good fit. Unfortunately it was not to be. Due to security issues, I wanted to use my local wifi that is not on the internet. This made setup very difficult. After much frustration, I was finally able to get my first two plugs working. They seemed to be doing OK after a week so I added two more plugs. For some reason, it was impossible to get the new plugs integrated into my system. Even after it appeared that they were working, they would fail to activate intermittently. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the entire system several times with the same result Even tried competing products with the same or worse results. Too bad that X10 is no longer supported as it was much more dependable than any wifi based automation. I guess I'll reinstall the old X10 stuff and hope for the best.
