It will change the way you think about fried chicken
If you want to make restaurant-quality fried chicken, this is the deal. Follow the directions for oil and temp and run leg quarters together for 9 minutes plus 2 minutes to vent and breast pieces and wings together for 4 minutes plus 2. Since you make the breading, you can season it to your liking and make the best fried chicken you've ever had. Bone-in pieces are tender and juicy and the breast meat is like butter. I use no more than 2 TBP of paprika for 2 cups of self-rising flour to keep it from becoming overly dark after it's fried.

Dandy little sight
I put this on a .22 magnum carbine along with an off-set back-up sight and it's just the thing for a scaled-down light-shooting set up. The dot is plenty bright enough for sunny days and is small enough that it doesn't subtend much target for precision shooting.

Best gravy mix out there
This was so good I stopped making my own gravy. Use unsalted stock instead of water for best results and check for salt when complete.
